While COVID-19 still hovers on our heads, the Bethel AG Church in Bengaluru opened doors for its followers through its drive way on Sunday. The church started “Worship on Wheels”, an initiative in which worshipers can indulge in service to Christ by sitting in their cars parked in the church’s drive way and watching the service on a big screen.
This was supervised by a schedule in which the first batch of people came on two wheeler at 0700 hours and 1700 hours, the second batch was for cars from 0900 hours to 1900 hours and the third batch was for people who commuted via public transport or walked to the church at 1100 hours.
The attendees were required to wear masks and stay in their cars throughout the service. This was the first-ever drive-in service held in India and was attended by about 80 cars and two wheeler.
