The students of Delhi School of Journalism (DSJ), a part of are planning a strike against the University for ‚Äònot providing adequate facilities‚Äô.
It‚Äôs been more than 18 months that the authorities have been neglecting the rights of students to proper access of computer labs, media labs and other facilities.
‚ÄúWe‚Äôve been charged the highest fees considering all the colleges under Delhi University‚Äù. a student said.
The students have been holding protests against the administration in order to gain access to the facilities. Students have knocked the door of Vice Chancellor and Registrar but haven‚Äôt got a solution yet.
‚ÄúWe are in our third semester and yet we haven‚Äôt received any facilities listed and promised in our prospectus. We want the administration to pay us back or either we would be heading towards the court.‚Äù said¬†Mohammad Ali, a journalism student of the institute.
The students¬†have also approached senior lawyer Prashant Bhushan to help them in taking this matter forward legally.
