The members of the academic and executive council of Delhi University have written a letter to the vice-chancellor, asking him to cancel the open-book exams. This letter came because the HRD Minister – Ramesh Pokhriyal asked UGC to revise their guidelines.

25 members from the academic and executive council have given in for this letter. They have mentioned that the HRD minister has asked UGC to revisit the guidelines for the final semester and it has been reported that the expert committee of UGC has recommended to cancel the exams. Both the HRD Ministry and UGC are taking in considerations the objections raised and the challenges faced by students as well as teachers due to the university’s online examinations.
