After a long period of wait, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has finally released its guidelines, asking the universities and the institutions to conduct terminal semester/year examinations by the end of September 2020. The examinations have been mandated in pen and paper (offline), online, and both offline and online modes.
The Union HRD Minister also clarified that the intermediate year students will be graded on the Internal Assessments. The examinations for the final year students were originally scheduled for the month of July, but would now be conducted by the end of September.
