Recently, in a display of her quiet defiance as a survivor, Reshma walked the ramp at the prestigious ‘New York Fashion Week.‘ The only thing she wants in life is to set an example for acid attack survivors. She wants to send a strong message to the world about women empowerment and end acid sale, an issue which has been discussed and proposed a number of times in our country but nothing major has been done about it.- Advertisement -
“The walk was important to me because there are so many girls like me who are survivors of acid attacks and this will give them courage” Qureshi said in an interview.
